What is a printed circuit board (PCB)?

The word PCB is actually an abbreviation of the word Printed Circuit Board, which means printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a set of electrical circuits and can be one-sided (one layer of copper), two-sided (two layers of copper) or even multiple layers; so that electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc. are assembled on it and used for use in electronic equipment. Before the growth and expansion of PCB, circuits were made by point-to-point wiring, which increased complexity and uncertainty in the circuit. As a result, we were never able to build a large circuit like a motherboard (by connecting parts with wires). In PCB, all the parts are connected without wires and from the inside, which reduces the complexity of the overall circuit design.

Introduction of General Electron Boards

Single layer PCB Double layer PCB (ordinary or metallized double PCB board) Multi-layer PCB (multi-layer PCB board) • Flexible PCB (PCB Flex board) Rigid PCB board • Two-mode PCB (rigid-flexible)
